Specialists in data recovery Server from any RAID system

DataLab has a specialized state-of-the-art RAID server data recovery center: for file recovery from RAID systems we use the Reco-tron clean room method, a fast, reliable and consolidated recovery system. We are thus able to recover data from any RAID storage device - in particular, but not limited to, recover data from RAID 0 and RAID 5 - on the market and from all filesystems, from any interface (SATA - SAS - FIBER CHANNEL FC - SCSI - etc.) and whatever number of disks your system/server consists of.  recupero dati hard disk

RAID system - What it is and how it works

RAID systems share an internal data protection system from the acronym "RAID": the Redundant Array of Independent Disks ("redundant set of independent disks", ) is a computer system that uses a set of hard disks to share or replicate information. The term RAID therefore indicates a technique that allows the controller, capable of managing the various storage units, to divide the data between the multiple disks present. The benefits of RAID are to increase data integrity, fault tolerance and performance, compared to using a single disk.

The management of performance, security and tolerance against possible faults vary according to the chosen system strategy: in fact, there are different types of RAID. Without getting too specific, we will limit ourselves to saying that there are different basic RAID types, ranging from level 0 to level 7, and nested RAID types, which are nothing more than the basic RAID types combined together in such a way as to exploit the characteristics of one or the other.

Why do servers lose data? The causes.

Data recovery servers and systems in raid, here are the most common causes for data loss:

  • Physical damage to a disk that makes up the RAID system.
  • Erroneous array rebuild by controller or user or engineer forcing.
  • Array reconfiguration with a drive that is no longer functional but is erroneously brought back into play.
  • Logical corruption of the data structure.
  • Accidental or ransomware deletion of partition or folders.

RAID System Data Recovery - Working Procedure

The processing involves the analysis of each disk that makes up the system, the securing of the data present, the recovery of damaged supports and the reconstruction of the RAID.
We can recover data from RAID systems from any type of Server, NAS, SAN or DAS. We are equipped to work on any type of interface from the most recent to the most dated, that's why data recovery from RAID systems has very high chances of success.

The typical cases in which RAID does not allow access to data (offline disks, disk failure light, multiple damaged disks, missing or missing partition, RAID 0, RAID 5 configurations, etc.) are solved with very fast recovery times as the recovery is carried out directly in Parma in our laboratory (without the intervention of third parties) whatever the problem encountered.
